Terms and Conditions
BOOKING-
1. 10% Advance Token Money Deposit: The customer is required to deposit a 10% advance as token money to
secure the booking.
2. Booking Confirmation: After the advance deposit is made, the booking is confirmed.
GSTIN Details
1. Please ensure that your GSTIN details are provided in advance. No changes will be allowed to the final
invoice once it has been generated in the system.
2.Quotation Validity: The quotation provided will remain valid for a period of fifteen (15) days from the
submission date, provided approval is given within this timeframe.
Final Payment Requirement:
1. Full Load: 80% payment must be made at the loading point through G-PAY, Online Bank Transfers
(NEFT/RTGS), or cash.
2. The remaining 20% payment is required after unloading but before the start of unloading.
3. Part Load: 100% payment is required at the loading point.
4. Credit Card Payments: We accept credit card payments with a surcharge of 2.5% for all cards (3.5% for
American Express).
5. Corporate Clients: Payment will be accepted upon presentation of our bill, provided an official purchase
order (PO) is issued by your company.
Transit Risk Coverage Terms - General Safety Measures:
1. We take all necessary steps to ensure the safe delivery of your goods. However, some circumstances may be
beyond our control.
Risk Coverage Option:
1.We strongly recommend opting for "Risk Charges" coverage for added protection.
Household Goods: 3% of the total declared value.
2. FOV (Freight on Value): This refers to insurance coverage for goods during transit.
3. Carrier Risk Charges: Aastha Packers and Movers seem to charge 3% of the valuation of goods as
a carrier risk charge.
4. This means if your goods are valued at ₹1,00,000, the carrier risk charge would be ₹3,000.
Non-Covered Consignments:
If risk coverage is not opted for, all items, including cars and bikes, will be transported at the owner's risk,
and no claims will be entertained.
Declaration of Goods:
The value of goods must be declared individually at the time of packing as per the inventory/packing list.
Items with no declared value will be assumed to have zero value.
Claims Policy:
1. Any claims must be brought to our notice on the same day of unpacking.
2. Claims made after the team exits will not be entertained.
3. Claims must be lodged within 24 hours of delivery.
4. For cars and bikes, only claims for exterior damage will be entertained; internal or mechanical faults are not
covered.
Inventory Sheet:
Proper value declarations must be recorded in the inventory sheet, which will serve as the final document
for claim settlement.
Live Plants and Pots:
Live plants and pots are transported at the client’s risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to
them.
Insurance Declaration:
If insurance is not opted for, a declaration form must be signed, acknowledging that the consignment,
including cars and bikes, will be transported at the owner's risk without any claims at a later stage.
Important information.
1. Society entry/exit charges, lift usage charges (if applicable) to be directly paid by you
2. It is your responsibility to take all prior permissions from the society.
3. Third party services like removing/fixing air-condition, washing machine, geysers,
electric chimney, etc are not covered in our scope/quote. If you require Aastha Packers
And Movers to arrange for the same, please let us know & we will include in the
quotation.
4. If Aastha Packers And Movers arranges the AC fixing, the material cost (If required) like
Drilling, copper wire, extra pipes, gas filling has to be borne by client directly.
5. We also recommend you to remove water from the storage geyser prior to start of
packing.
6. Please ensure only empty Gas Cylinders are given to us for transportation.
7. Any live plants/pots will be transported at the risk of the client. Aastha Packers And
Movers is not responsible for any loss or damage of the same.
8. Value of goods for risk management should be declared individually at the time of
packing as per the inventory/packing list. No value mentioned will be assumes zero
value.
9. Damages inside the electronic items are not covered under risk management unless
there is a clear sign of external/physical damage occurred during transit.
10. Please provide transit bolts for front loading washing machine prior to packing.
11. If the house is not ready at the destination and storage is required at our warehouse,
kindly inform us in advance - Extra charges will be applicable.
12.The Material used for packing will remain the property of Aastha Packers and Movers &
same will be collected immediately post unpacking. Retaining of cartons (for later
collection) needs to be mutually agreed.
13 .Two wheelers – Please empty the fuel tank/oil completely to ensure no spillage/leakage
during transit
14. Car – Minimum of 20 litres should be made available in the car as the carriers are not
allowed to ply inside the city limit both at origin & destination
15. The Material used for packing will remain the property of Aastha Packers and Movers &
same will be collected immediately post unpacking. Retaining of cartons (for later
collection) needs to be mutually agreed.
16. We require at least 3 days of prior notice for mobilization of resources.
17 . Should there be any increase or decrease in volume of your goods after packing, our
rates will be revised accordingly.
Documentsrequired prior to packing and loading (for Inter city transport only):
1. A copy of any Photo ID & a passport size photograph
2. Valuation of your household effects (item wise break-up) and vehicles if applicable (Will be
explained by the supervisor during the time of packing).
3. In case of two or four wheeler transportation: Copy of RC, Copy of Insurance letter & Copy of
emission certificate.
Please ensure following items to be segregated and set aside by you before we start our packing to
avoid any unnecessary problems to you and to your family.
1. All important documents; Documents related to your children school admission
/travel/gas, transfer/vehicles/cheque book/Passbook/Passport.
2. Jewellery/cash/silver items/Car and household keys
3. Aastha Packers And Movers (Worker) will not be liable for any loss if these items get packed along with the goods.
Please note that we do not accept the following items for transportation:
1. Perishable goods Jewelry Arms and ammunition Hazardous materials, including Fireworks
(crackers) Explosives Chemicals Gas cylinders Battery acids Flammable oils (e.g., diesel,
petrol, kerosene, gasoline) Narcotics Counterfeit or prohibited items not carry by Aastha Packers And Movers.
2. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Allahabad (Prayagraj) Allahabad Court only.
